Just wanted to post a quick note to say I am from Wisconsin and just recently went to visit my aunt and cousins in Nevada I.A. Well I had a most wonderful time, we stayed at my aunts house in nevada and also were in town for the Iowa state Fair which was also trully amazing. I cant say enough how helpful and king Iowians can be I would go out each morning on my aunts front porch to have my morning cigarette and there was always at least one or two passerbys that would greet me and say high.
I was also impressed by the mere size of the state faie in Des moines ( a much larger affair than the state fair here in Wisconsin) We spent the better part of a Saturday at the fair the only sdmall complaint I did have was the cost of both the rides, as well as the food and drinks. I guess though you pay that just about anywhere though. Lastly I was travelling to Nevada from green Bay W.I. and I was just wondering what routes some others have taken. I really did love the ride especially when we hit the Mighty Mississippi River the scenerary was udderly breathtaking. I just wanted to say Thank You Iowians for a splendid vacation and your down home hospitatilty it was a wonderful experince that I shall cherish for many many years to come.
Oh I also wanted to plug Nilanns resturant on the Lincoln Highway (I am sure I am spelling it incorrectly SORRY) probablly the best breakfast I have had in quite some time. I certainlly recomend eating there if you get the chance.
Had a kick A** Time in Nevada I.A.
I live in San Diego, CA now, but I still my beloved Nevada. A town there the worse vandalism incident includes TP%26#39;ing, a lifted car hood will cause 6 people to ask if you need a ride or a mechanic, travelers can find directions anywhere, and women still thwap their kids with a purse if they dont hold the door for the little old lady behind them. If you read this and are headed that way, have a bite and Snacktime and tell Eddy and Big Eddy Miranda sent you. My sister will be at Ben Franklin%26#39;s on the weekend, if you need anything.
