Nice Place to Stay in Iowa City/Coralville

Need your opinions on the best place to stay in Iowa City/Coralville. Close to University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics would be great, but not a requirement. Pool, Spa, Restaurant would be a plus also.

Nice Place to Stay in Iowa City/Coralville

In economical terms your best bet would be to stay at the Heartland Inn. It is a typical no frills motel, and has a indoor pool. There is an Old Chicago next door and a number of other restaurants within walking distance. A plus for you would be that they offer a free shuttle to the UIHC, where parking can run a $1 an hour.

Would you stay somewhere else if $ was not an issue?

Coralville just opened a new Marriott in August. From what I have heard and seen it is a really nice place. Also a Comfort Suites and Holiday Inn Express have opened in the last couple of years near Coral Ridge Mall. Another option I would look into, would be the bed and breakfasts in Iowa City (My sister and brother-in-law stayed at the Brown Street Inn recently and enjoyed their experience.)
