Motel for KIDS

Searching the Des Moines area for a motel for a family get-away. Looking for a FUN pool, we loved Adventureland Inn a few years back but reading all the testimonys I%26#39;m a little afraid to take young children there because of the chemicals. Last year we went to the Wildwood Lodge, but was disappointed in the pool. Any suggestions?

The Embassy Suites in Des Moines is a very good value and is especally ideal for families. The rooms are larger than most standard hotel rooms and you can%26#39;t beat the free cooked-to-order breakfast and two hour manager%26#39;s reception at night with drinks and snacks anywhere else. They have an indoor pool and the hotel was just redone in 2005. I would highly recommend this hotel and think that your family would enjoy staying there.

You should look into staying at the hilton garden inn in west des moines. it%26#39;s right across the street from the new jordan creek mall and all of the great restaraunts. their pool area is amazing! they have a large adult pool, a separate kiddy pool, and also a hot tub all in the same large area! my family and I loved the whole stay and already booked another reservation to go back!

My cousins loved the pool at the Country Inn %26amp; Suites in Clive. It is one of the largest in the area. The hotel is very family oriented and even has a package this summer that has a goodie bag for the kids when they check in. I think it had swimming goggles in it. Very good value!!!

My suggestion is to try the New Hilton Garden Inn in West Des Moines lowa. It%26#39;s only been opened for four months. They have two great pool areas, and adult size pool, and then one for the little ones that is fensed off, plus a great work out facility and hot tub.

The rooms are set up that you can have a suite room where the parents can be in one room, and the kids in the other. It%26#39;s awesome!

They are also located right across from the New Jordan Creek Mall, New Super Wal-mart, and Super Target. Great customer service too. And to top that off, a hot breakfast that is made to order and kids under 12 are free. They even made micky mouse pancakes. The kids loved them.

Stoney Creek Inn in Johnston. All done in a country lodge style with an awesome indoor swim through to outdoor pool area. Have a bunkbed suite with your own hot tub where the whole family can comfortably stay. Free continental breakfast. They are just off of I-80 just past the Merle Hay Mall exit. Easy to get to Merle Hay, Valley West or Jordan Creek Malls. Restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The pool area can not be beat - we hadn%26#39;t seen anything to compare in many years.
