what to do in Iowa?

We are traveling up from Missouri next week and would like to know what there is to do in Iowa. Not sure of our route so any suggestions would be appreciated. We enjoy old museums, ships, boats, ect.

Old museums, ships, boats....sounds like a trip through Iowa along the Mississippi.....all of the larger ';river towns'; have museums, etc. I live near Dubuque - the have the brand new Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium and right next to it is the William H Black - an old working riverboat (I can%26#39;t remember exactly what kind right off hand though....). It is also neat to go up in to Eagle Point park in Dubuque and watch boats pass through the lock and dam there. The Grand Harbor resort in Dubuque would be a good overnight stop - indoor waterpark - great if you have kids - right next to riverboat casino if you don%26#39;t have kids.....

I know there are more river-related attractions in Davenport and Clinton too, but I am not as familiar with them.

As for scrapbooking - there are good store in the Quad Cities, Dubuque and the Cedar Rapids and Des Moine areas. Figure out exactly where you will be going and I will give you more details based on your route.
